The Forest Pansy Redbud is a deciduous tree with distinguishing traits. In the spring, it produces vivid, rosy-pink flowers that appear before the leaves. The tree then produces glossy, heart-shaped, purplish-red leaves that mature to deep reddish-purple or maroon. In the fall, the leaves become green, crimson, and orange. A small to medium-sized tree, usually 20-30 feet tall and wide.
