Hameln grass is a dwarf fountain grass valued for its compact size and appealing appearance. It has fine-textured, green leaves that becomes a golden-tan in the fall, as well as fluffy, bottlebrush-shaped flower plumes that last into the winter. These plumes are usually white or silvery-white. Hameln grass normally grows 2-3 feet tall and wide.
