Procumbens Standard Juniper, or Japanese Garden Juniper, is a low-growing, evergreen shrub endemic to Japan that has been graphed onto a tree. It has a prostrate (ground-hugging) growing habit and needle-like foliage that ranges from blue to gray-green. Over time, the plant grows into a dense mat, reaching heights of 8-24 inches and spreading to 10-15 feet in width.
